Magic Tree House: Mummies in the Morning – Chapter 4

1️⃣ Summary
A long stick suddenly fell in front of them. It might have been the swooshing thing that dropped it. Jack noticed that it was a scepter. Annie thought the swooshing thing might be a mummy, but Jack thought it was a tomb robber.
While Jack was writing about the tomb robber in his notebook, he felt a whoosh of cold air. Annie saw an ancient Egyptian woman wearing flowers on her head and a long white dress with tiny pleats, standing in front of them. Annie nudged Jack to give the scepter to her, but it went right through her—she was made of air.

✏️ Today's Reflection
Today I made a story based on Back to the Future. I wanted to add more detail, but it’s still not easy. However, I got some inspiration about how to use English expressions more broadly. Maybe soon I’ll be able to create many sentences using simple and easy words.
