Magic tree house 2 : The Knight at Dawn – Chapter 1

Jack woke up early at dawn. It was only four o'clock, and he couldn't fall back asleep. Annie couldn’t sleep either. They decided to go to the tree house again. So, Jack and Annie got dressed and went out with a flashlight. When they reached the tree house, Annie climbed up first.

7. Maybe we can catch them sleeping.
→ The more I try to catch its secret, the harder it gets to know for sure.
→ When you follow the clues, you might catch him lying to you.
→ She caught them talking about her.

→ Knock it off!
→ Stop it!
→ Quit it!

9. I don’t think we should.
→ I think he should solve the problem.
→ I think he should come here.

10. Animals always seemed to do what Annie said.
→ The tree house seemed to have magic that reached everywhere.

3️⃣ Short Story

I’ve always tried to figure out the meaning of life. But the more I try to catch its secret, the harder it gets to know for sure. I don't believe we necessarily need to know the reason for our existence. But people who have their own reason for life can go through any hard time more easily. Alternatively, remembering how one felt during the good times in life might also help. Maybe life itself doesn’t even have an absolute meaning. It seems to be shaped by our own choices and will. Let’s put our own meaning into life.

✏️ Today's Reflection

2권으로 넘어갔는데 벌써 슬럼프가 오려 하네요. 어제도 말했지만 완벽함보다는 꾸준함을 잊지 않으려 합니다. 에너지를 한 번에 다 쏟기보단, 완급조절하면서 오래 가는 것이 더 중요하다고 느껴요. 매일 조금씩이라도 계속 해내는 나 자신을 응원하는 연습을 해보려합니다.
